Give Kitty Some Grog !

This is the print of a painting originally done with fabric paint on fabric and finished with various mediums. There is a pirate's outstretched arm extending a tankard of ale, or possibly milk, to a cranky tabby cat. The tankard has a design of a skull wearing a bow. It somewhat resembles the tabby cats on the Disney's Pirate ride. On the ride, a pirate is holding out his tankard to the cats, and they have their tail's up, and seem pretty cranky, probably because they are starving. I am not sure if the cats are still there, or if they have both been replaced, possibly by Jack Sparrow. Its time to go back to Disneyland ! Sexy Pirate Wench Walks The Plank

Here is my first pirate wench design. I originally tried to paint a wench sitting on top of a pile of treasure, but I like shiny things, and got too carried away with the treasure. Artichoke Fairy

This is a design I did several years ago as an entry for the Castroville Artichoke Festival's poster contest. I did not win... /sigh... I guess there just isn't a large market for artichoke fairies... :) This design was done with various mediums on canvas. I had no idea that artichokes were so pretty, until I decided to try to paint one. I also ate my first whole artichoke while I worked on this project. I'd had pieces of them before on pizzas etc... but this was my first time digging into a whole artichoke. It was somewhat messy... but very tasty!
